Video of a bee removal expert tackling a European hornet nest built inside an old car in Alliance, Ohio, has gone viral.
“Bee Man” Travis Watson was called to remove the nest which was so large it covered most of the driver’s seat of the car.
Video of Watson filming him removing the giant hornet nest went viral. He removed the nest from an old El Camino after getting a call from an elderly gentleman. Watson told media outlets the nest was about the “size of a toddler” and contained somewhere between 800 to 1,000 hornets.
“People must exercise extreme caution around a nest as they defend their nest aggressively,” he told Storyful.
Watson took great care when handling the hornet nest and successfully removed it from the car. “We’re gonna need a bigger bag,” Watson can be heard saying on the video as he carefully dismantled the nest piece by piece.
