Coffee Shop Owner Sick And Tired Of Rude Customers Puts Up A Hilarious Sign

Justin Simms enjoys running his coffee shop in Roanoke, VA, but what he doesn’t enjoy are rude customers. The owner of  CUPS Coffee & Tea decided to address the issue by putting up a sign, which has since gone viral for it’s funny and clear message – the more impolite you are, the more you are going to pay.

The sandwich board reads:

“One small coffee”
$5.00
“One small coffee, please”
$3.00
“Hello, I’d like one small coffee please.”
$1.75

“I decided because I need to solve all the injustices of the world to start charging more for people who didn’t take the time to say ‘hello’ and connect and realize we’re all people behind the counter,” Simms said.

A day after he wrote the sign a picture of it appeared on reddit and soon was publicized worldwide. It appears the sign and its message is resonating with many people.
