Thieves Have Found A Clever And Simple Way To Break Into Your Car

Apparently, there’s a new trend among car thieves that people should be on the look-out for.

I knew there are cheap $5 hacking devices that can easily unlock car doors for thieves, but some thieves are now breaking into cars by simply using a penny or nickel.

While your car is locked and unattended, either sitting in your driveway or at a shopping centre, the thief slides a coin into the door handle on the passenger side.

When you leave and drive away nothing happens, but when you stop and close your car, the central locking will not function properly, effectively leaving your car unlocked.

The thieves will have followed you and when you leave your car, they will be able to get inside and steal whatever they like!

The best way to ensure you don’t fall prey to this trick is to check your vehicle’s passenger door for a coin and to ensure all your car doors are locked. It’s also a good idea to check the back seat to avoid being carjacked.

The video below reveals another car thief trick that police across the United States are reporting. It’s called “sliding” and involves thieves sneaking into cars at gas station and stealing purses from unsuspecting victims!

While you can’t prevent thieves from getting into your vehicle, you can keep them from getting your belongings. The best way to protect yourself is to not leave anything of value in your car unattended, not even your insurance papers.

Share this important information with your family and friends and take precautions to be safe!
