Waffles and Hemingway don’t know that they are different species, they just know they are besties. The goose and mini horse were rescued from a paddock in poor condition but that hadn’t dampened their spirits or their bond.
The Bucks County SPCA immediately noticed Hemingway the goose was very protective of Waffles. They also noticed that Hemingway was quite independent and stubborn.
The shelter wanted to find an adopter who would keep them together. As fate would have it Maddie and Nick, who had recently bought a farm, saw a posting about the pair. That’s when the lives of the animal friends was about to get exciting!
