Despite their size and bulk, bears are expert climbers but it’s different when you are a bear cub. To learn how to climb you need your mom to help teach you how to do it.
A driver in Los Angeles County, California, witnessed a climbing lesson in action when they spotted a mama bear training her cubs in the essential (urban) skill of climbing fences.
The first cub makes it over the fence almost all on his own. But when the second cub tries, he slides back down and decides to give up. The cub runs back onto the street. Thankfully, mama runs over and gets him off the street and takes him back to the fence where the lesson resumes…this time successfully!
