Jessica the hippo was separated from her mother as a newborn baby during a flood. But she was found by Tonie and Shirley Joubert, who took her into their home in South Africa as one of their own. Jessica may not be a baby hippo anymore, but that doesn’t stop her from coming by to visit her human parents and enjoy a bottle of her favorite tea, sleep on the porch with the family dog, or eat dinner in the kitchen with them!
