The following recipe makes around 16 scrolls. They take about 20 minutes to prepare, plus the rising time.
3 Cups of Plain Flour
1/4 Cup of Caster Sugar (Super Fine White Sugar) + 1 Tablespoon for Yeast
7g Sachet of Dried Yeast
1/4 Cup of Warm Water
3/4 Cup of Milk
1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract / Essence
50 g Butter (melted)
1 Egg (lightly beaten)
100 g Butter (very soft)
1/2 Cup of Brown Sugar
1/4 Cup of Caster Sugar
2 Tablespoons of Ground Cinnamon
Cooking Time: About 30 minutes 180 C (350 F).
Remember to leave them out for a few minutes to cool off before you and your friends devour them!
