A Bulgarian mountain resort had a mystery. A mystery swimmer was breaking into their recreation centre’s outdoor pool at night, so they checked their security footage to catch him. That’s when they noticed a brown bear trespassing past the “Closed” sign and gate to take a late night dip in the water.
They kept seeing the same bear returning to the pool. It seems he just couldn’t get enough of the water. He would paddle around and hang out at the pool’s edge. The resort staff nicknamed him Swimmy and decided not to disturb him.
With the pool being closed in the winter, the staff are letting him enjoy it as much as he wants before he goes into hibernation.
