Crystal Kelley was enjoying some time outside in her backyard with her dog Lily began sniffing something in the snow. When she took a closer look she saw that it was a frozen bird!
Too far away from her home, Crystal carried the poor bird closer to her home so she could try and thaw him out with a hair dryer. She wasn’t sure it work, but she had to try. She didn’t bring the bird inside because she thought if he started flying in the house that could have been a big problem, plus she has a cat.
“I didn’t put the blow dryer on high and warm him up too quickly,” she says. After two hours of slowly heating him up, the bird finally stirs to life!
