Two Dogs Abandoned at Local Library Thrilled When They Learn They’ve Been Adopted Together

An animal control officer shared a touching video of two abandoned dogs reuniting with each other at the shelter after a few weeks apart. Chelsea Hoover (@chelseahoover3) is an animal control officer. She shared the TikTok video of the two formerly stray dogs happily reuniting and noted that some people say it sucks to be an animal control officer. But she wrote that on this occasion it most certainly didn’t. No doubt she sees a lot of daily heartache in her job but she wrote, “Today was not one of them!”

Chelsea first met the dogs when she responded to a call about two dogs abandoned at a local library. They were huddled together in the parking lot with an ant-filled bone thrown nearby.

In the clip the two dogs look so scared. They were brought back to the shelter and temporarily separated but they were reunited two weeks later when they got adopted together!

Yes, that’s the news that made Chelsea’s day. It’s a very happy ending for this duo, who are suspected of being father and son!

Chelsea says that they were able to find a home for the pair. She wrote, “Two cops I work with adopted them together.”

Seeing how happy the two dogs are when they see each other just makes the fact that they have found a home together all the sweeter!
