The only thing more upsetting than having a sick baby, is having one who refuses to take his/her medicine. It’s not only worrisome, it can be incredibly frustrating.
Just ask Helena Lee who shared that she struggled for 24 hours to get her baby to take his medicine. Then she remembered a trick she had seen. She tried it, and it worked! She took to Facebook to share the tip to help the other mummies out there, and her tip quickly went viral.
“So for the last 24hours I’ve struggled to get Alfie to take Calpol, he has ended up covered in half of it where he spits it at me,” Helena Lee shared. “Then I remembered seeing this trick… Not 1 bit got wasted and no tears.”
Helena’s post has been shared more than 130,000 times since then!
Many moms have pointed out this tip has been around forever and is one that nurses often use and teach new mothers. But as several women point out, remembering it is the trick, writing the tip is “one for the memory bank”.
