Man Who Saved 669 Kids From Nazi Death Camps Unaware Many Are Sitting All Around Him

In an operation known as the Czech Kindertransport, Sir Nicholas Winton organized the rescue of 669 mostly Jewish Czechoslovakian children destined for the Nazi death camps before World War II. Thanks to Sir Nicholas, the children made it safely to Britain.

In the video below, the kids Sir Nicholas saved came together to pay tribute to him. The moment Sir Nicholas realizes that he is surrounded by the people he saved brought tears to my eyes.

Sir Nicholas Winton passed away on July 1, 2015 at the age of 106.
