No one knows what was going through the mind of a wild buffalo when he picked a fight with a rhinoceros but the resulting encounter stunned onlookers.
Braden Colling, a safari tour guide, was coming towards the end of a tour in Kariega Game Reserve, South Africa, when he spotted a herd of buffalo acting agitated at the sight of a white rhino bull in the distance.
That’s when one male buffalo broke from the pack and went head-to-head with the 2.5 ton rhino. The rhino quickly ended the battle by flipping the 1 ton buffalo over, throwing the big beast “head over heels.”
