Kita was seen trying to survive on a property for several weeks before she was rescued by Cross Your Paws Rescue. She was soaked and afraid and “completely broken” and scared of everything.
Kita was so shut down she wouldn’t make eye contact. But eventually, she began to warm up to her rescuers and began jumping up on the couch for cuddles. And when they weren’t home, she would take their clothes out and bring them up on the couch.
Two short weeks later, Kita found her forever family. She was very timid having to adapt to her new home, so much so that she didn’t want to go outside. But with her sisters, Flare and Raven, Kita would make a complete turnaround that’s heartwarming to see.
