I thought the mail carriers’ biggest enemy was “dog”. But in Falmouth, Massachusetts, it turns out that it’s …turkeys?
Instead of being chased by dogs, mail carriers have to deal with a roughneck group of wild turkeys who chase after them along the route. It’s gotten so bad, one mailman has armed himself with a long pole to keep the birds from biting. In the video, he says he has to fend the ornery birds off “every day”.
