Make A Homemade Frozen Pineapple Treat That’s Just Like Disneyland’s Dole Whip

Gemma Stafford regularly shares wonderful and easy-to-make dessert recipes and this one is perfect for a hot summer day! She visited Disneyland and tried their famous Dole Whip. It’s the theme park’s frozen soft-serve whipped pineapple treat. She demonstrates how to make her homemade version in the following video.

Not only is the recipe extremely fast to make and only requires 2 ingredients and is ready to eat. As extra bonus it’s dairy free and vegan. To make it, you’ll need frozen pineapple (either store bought or chop up a fresh pineapple and freeze) and coconut milk (light or regular).

Add the milk to your food processor or blender first followed by the frozen pineapple. Blend the mixture until it’s smooth. You will have to mix it in with a spatula three to four times to make sure it blends smoothly. It’s almost done when it has a fluffy, “whipped” texture.

You probably want to portion the milk to pineapple as 1:4 (so 1 cup coconut milk to 4 cups frozen pineapple), but you can experiment with the portions according to your taste.

Gemma adds an extra special touch of using half of a scooped out pineapple as the bowl. She advises that whatever you choose to serve it in, that you freeze it first so it’s cold. This is definitely a treat recipe I’m going to try!
