Who says dogs don’t like cats? Leo, a Jack Russell mix, risked his life to protect four newborn kittens after a fire broke out in the family home. Firefighters had to dodge fallen power lines to reach the dog, who refused to leave the kittens’ behind. Ken Brown with the Metropolitan Fire Brigade said, “Leo wouldn’t leave the kittens and it nearly cost him his life.” Firefighters managed to rescue the entire family from the home, including the kittens thanks to Leo!
