Goat Farmer Puts Down His Rake And Starts To Dance, Now His Video Is Going Viral

Life as a farmer is a lot of work, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be fun. Take farmer Jay Lavery for instance. When he tends to his goats, he’s just might start dancing. He explains:

“Dancing is how I stay warm in the barn and I never know when I’m going to break out into a dance. But what most people don’t know is that 15 years ago I had a traumatic back injury that caused me to have several back surgeries including a discectomy and a spinal fusion and never ending back pain. Dancing along with yoga and meditation are my only alternatives to pain medication.”

Jay decided to share his awesome dance moves in a video that is going viral. It opens with him sweeping hay in his barn, but a few seconds in the throws aside his broom and Sia’s Cheap Thrills” begins to play. Soon he’s shuffling and dancing to his heart’s content (and helping his back!)

Jay hopes his video inspires “anyone to move in spite of pain and I hope this puts a smile on your face for the New Year.”

Note: as Jay had to remove Sia’s song as per the request of her record company we’ve included two more of Jay’s fun dances in the barn videos below this YouTube video. Be sure to check them (and Jay’s dance moves) out.
