An electricity blackout can cause all kinds of trouble, and one in Goiania, Brazil caused a traffic jam, unlike any I’ve ever seen.
The person who recorded the intersection filled with cars wrote, “There was an electricity blackout and traffic lights stopped working, but instead of trying to let the traffic flow, drivers made a huge mess.”
It seems that the drivers were all impatient and ignored the rules of a 4-way stop, leaving the cars in the intersection interlocked like some elaborate puzzle game. I’ve never seen anything like it!
