Couple Out Walking Their Dog Find Buried Treasure Worth 10 Million Dollars

A couple was walking their dog on their property in Gold Country, California, when they discovered something unbelievable buried by a tree.

They found six rusty cans containing 1,427 rare gold coins in mint-condition that date back to 1847. Some of the coins are so rare that they are worth $1 million dollars each. In total, their discovery is worth $10 million dollars!

The couple said they had walked almost every day on the trail for many years  before spotting one of the cans sticking out from the earth.

Not surprisingly, the couple want to remain anonymous, but they plan on using the money to pay off bills and donate to local charities.

The gold treasure is being called the Saddle Ridge Hoard and will be auctioned by Kagins, Inc., who said the buried treasure may be the most valuable hoard ever unearthed in North America.
