When Daisy was brought into the Vet Ranch late last year, the Pit Bull had a big wound on her side. From examining her injury, they assumed she was hit by a car and it had been left untreated and gotten infected. If she was left alone on the streets much longer she surely would have died from infection.
Dr. Matt immediately began attending to Daisy’s wound. Her wound was very deep and he could not close it with sutures, so he used hydrotherapy to stimulate the tissue to heal. But following the surgery she was wagging her tail and reaching out to be comforted. And within the next month, Daisy got back on her feet!
As the video mentions, Daisy’s wounds are quite graphic and may be disturbing to some viewers.
