Connie Talbot is a young vocalist who first came to worldwide attention as a finalist on the mega-popular entertainment program Britain’s Got Talent. She has a precious voice that lends itself to this holiday song, “When a Child is Born”.
In this video of the song, Connie is accompanied by the Marine Corps as part of their Toys for Tots Campaign. Recorded when she was 8-years-old, the proceeds of her holiday album went towards helping the kinds of the U.S. Marine Corps’ annual holiday charitable program. Her grandmother is a member of the audience and wipes away tears from her eyes at 2:14, she’s so touched by her granddaughter’s talent!
