A pet parent thought she was putting her cat’s food bowl in the perfect spot out of reach of her dog, Rita May. But Rita May put that idea from her mom’s head. The trained search dog has a nose that “works overtime” and, as the video below will show, she also has the dexterity to get into tough spots.
Rita May’s mom placed the cat’s food bowl in the bathroom counter so that her cat could jump up and eat in peace. But after placing a camera in the bathroom to see what was going on, the woman learned Rita May had outsmarted that trick.
Mind you, as some viewers commented afterwards, it looks like the cat could afford to skip a few meals so maybe Rita May was doing her friend a service?
