US Naval Academy’s Anchormen Pay Tribute To Those Who Lost Their Lives On 9/11

Have 14 years really passed since 9/11? For many, the terrorist attacks on America will be forever be etched in our memories.

Eleven members of the United States Naval Academy’s Contemporary a capella group, the Anchormen, paid tribute to those that lost their lives on 9/11 with this performance a few years ago. The group sang “Hole in the World” by the Eagles. It’s a fitting song, with it’s sad, haunting lyrics.

The group sang the song in honor of the 10th anniversary of the attacks and wrote in the video’s description, “This video is meant as a tribute to those who gave their lives 10 years ago as well as the men and women who currently stand in defense of this great nation. We hope to remind everyone, that we as a nation have never forgotten you, and we will continue to fight to protect the liberties we as Americans cherish.”

It’s a beautiful tribute with a beautiful song.
