Matted Stray Dog That Suffered 10 Painful Years On The Streets Has Inspiring Transformation

Amaze-Bobb is a tiny poodle mix that experienced 10 years of neglect on the streets of Los Angeles. When he was rescued by animal control in January 2015 he was so severely matted that he was a lump of fur of “death’s door”. The poor senior dog was saved by Synergy Animal Rescue in San Diego.

When they began to tend to him, they made a shocking discovery. But when you read how this little dog with special needs has defied the odds you’ll stand up and cheer.

Amaze-Bobb may be a dog with two legs and a very sad story, but his indomitable spirit and good cheer make him a superstar!

Meet Amaze-Bobb.

He was rescued off the streets by Synergy Animal Rescue, a group that specializes in saving geriatric, special needs and terminally ill animals from death row.

While shaving away his matted fur, Bobb’s rear leg fell off! His front right paw was only attached by a thread and had to be removed. His limbs had been self-amputated because the fur had cut off blood circulation. Horrible!

His teeth were also so rotted that they had to be pulled. He’s now only has a few left.

Bobb began to be looked after by a foster family and by Synergy Animal’s founder, Carla.

Bobby’s foster family were in the process of moving, so Bobb stayed with Carla while they relocated.

During that time got to meet many new friends and visit special families.

He also got plenty of time to rest and heal and enjoy cuddles.

He loves getting his belly rubbed.

Bobb also got checked over to see if he could wear prosthetics, but he could not get them because of where his nubs were placed. But he hops around just fine and is not suffering on two legs.

During the time they looked after him, Bobb’s foster family had fallen in love with him and wanted to keep him forever.

So he made the journey to their new home in Denver.

Bobb is now a beloved member of their family along with two Siberian Huskies and two cats.

It looks like he’s got two buddies to watch out for him.

Bobb is loving his new life and his new family.

And they really love him!

Bobb needs regular grooming, which he will get from now on! It also gives him a chance to sport a cool mohawk.

Bobb now he spends his days playing, relaxing, feeling safe and loved. What an amazing story and an amazing dog.
