Do all dogs just instinctively know and love grandparents? Sometimes, they just have to hear “nana” and they get excited. Sometimes, they’ve known them since they were puppies and see them as part of their pack.
Or maybe they know they’ll get and endless supply of treats when the grandparents are over and someone to play and cuddle with all day long!
These Alaskan Malamutes feel that way about their grandmother. When they come inside and get a whiff of her in the house, the hunt is on to find her. (She’s “hiding” upstairs.) And when they find her? Now that’s love.
