Woman Sings ‘Ave Maris Stella’ In Cathedral And Gives Everyone The Chills

While visiting Portugal recently, Malinda Kathleen Reese visited a church with beautiful acoustics all by herself (and whoever filmed) so she decided to sing. She sings a bit of “Ave Maris Stella” and the acoustics beautifully complement her singing.

“When you get a Pantheon style church with a 6 second acoustic delay all to yourself…” the YouTuber/musician wrote and posted the short video to Twitter, where it quickly amassed a lot of views and fans.

“I would cry if I heard my voice sound like that,” one user commented. “I am covered in chills!” another wrote.

Several others used the adjectives “heavenly”, “beautiful” and “magical”.

Take a listen for yourself in the clip below.

Malinda’s impromptu performance reminds me of another young girl’s singing while visiting a well in Italy.
