A Turkish shopkeeper became a hero worldwide after his actions saved a rambunctious 4 year old who put himself in danger!
It all began when an unnamed boy was playing on the escalator at an Istanbul shopping centre. With his parents nowhere to be seen, the boy starts ascending up the outside of the escalator.
That’s when Ali Apari spotted the kid and sprinted over to help the child, who fell from the top into’s Ali’s awaiting arms! Ali told reporters he had noticed the child playing near the escalators but there wasn’t anything initially dangerous.
“I turned back to the store and I was told that he was climbing onto the outside of the escalator rail,” said Ali. “So I ran outside and saw that he was about to fall down. I have health problems but despite that I did my best to catch him when he fell off and I managed to do so.”
Ali is not only heroic but modest as well!
