Down Syndrome Won’t Hold Back This Young Girl From Singing

Very few people with Down Syndrome will ever be able to sing, according to Down Syndrome Education International. But 12-year-old Madison Tevlin is defying that statistic.

As this video explains, Madison must use twice the standard vocal energy (measured in microvolts) in order to produce sound to speak, which means that singing uses a lot more energy! But Madison loves singing and in this video she performs “All Of Me”, a song which is special to her because of its message of unconditional love.

Madison works hard to improve her vocal technique and tone and although she had a sinus infection on the day of this recording, she didn’t want to disappoint anyone.

What an inspiring young lady!
