Newlyweds Cailyn and Brandon had a wild wedding in more way than one. After getting through a ceremony that saw a flood warning and pouring rain in the middle of their vows, newlyweds Cailyn and Brandon had their wedding reception crashed by an unexpected visitor. A bear appeared at their after party and took a liking to the desserts table!
The high school sweethearts were looking to have the “perfect Colorado wedding” up in the mountains. What they got was a very memorable one. First, Cailyn says, they woke up to flood warnings. Then a third of the way through their vows it began to rain. The entire wedding party got soaking wet but it didn’t put a damper on the day as Cailyn says it was “awesome.”
Then came the black bear. Just as the dancing started, a bear appeared and jumped onto the desserts table helping himself to the lemon bars and cannolis. Thankfully, the bear was only interested in stealing the food and was shooed off by the events staff. Cailyn later joked she was disappointed they didn’t get any of the cannolis. As for that perfect wedding she told KCRA 3, “This takes the cake, literally.”
But the couple are good-humored about it all saying, “Life doesn’t always go to plan but it’s how you get through it together.”
