Sometimes, there are more important things than winning. One particular middle school football team believed this to be the case when they decided purposely throw a game and keep the reasons a secret from everyone, even their coach, until the day of the big game.
The preteens of the Olivet Middle School Eagles football team wanted to do something to surprise their fellow team mate, Keith Orr and let him know he was a part of the team even though he doesn’t get to play much on the field because of his mental handicap. The kids wanted to give Keith a game to remember and, boy, did they ever.
