Tiny Dog Shamelessly Steals Uber Eats Order From Nashville Porch

Somewhere in Nashville, a tiny dog woke up and chose crime. Sydnei Everett’s grandfather had just ordered Uber Eats and was patiently waiting for his meal to arrive. The food was delivered safely onto the front porch, mission accomplished. Or so everyone thought.

A small dog was caught on camera shamelessly stealing a man’s meal from off his front porch in Nashville on May 6. Home security camera footage posted by Sydnei Everett shows the small dog walking up to Everett’s grandfather’s front porch in Nashville, Tennessee, where his Uber Eats meal had just been delivered. Everett told Storyful that after his food had been dropped off, he got a second notification that someone was at his front door. When he looked to see who it was, he saw the small dog trotting away with his food. Everett said that the delivery driver ended up tracking down the dog and bringing the food back to the porch.

Moments later, Everett’s grandfather got a second notification that someone was at the front door. Naturally, he checked the security camera expecting maybe the delivery driver again, a neighbor, or a package update.

Instead, he witnessed a small dog casually strolling onto the porch like he paid the mortgage. The tiny thief completely ignored the automated warning saying, “Hi, you are currently being recorded,” grabbed the meal, pulled it down the stairs and after a few drops of the heavy bag trotted away carrying dinner like he had just completed a successful grocery run.

“My grandad ordered Uber Eats and someone’s dog took it,” Everett said, perfectly summing up the chaos.

Thankfully, this story has a happy ending. The Uber Eats driver drove by and spotted what was happening and apparently decided they were not about to lose a meal to a four-legged bandit and actually chased the dog down.

@sydneieverett It’s only hilarious because the uber driver chased the dog down. In the end, my grandad got his food #CapCut ♬ original sound – Sydnei XO

In the end, Everett’s grandfather got his food back, the driver became an unexpected action hero, and somewhere out there is a dog who now knows porch piracy and “free extra meals” are possible.
