Veterinarian Locks Himself In A Car To See How Hot It Gets For Pets And The Results Are Shocking

Many people think it’s all right to leave their pets alone in the car in warm weather when they are out shopping or running errands. They think their dog will fine for the few minutes they are gone as long as they leave a window cracked open or leave out some water. They couldn’t be more wrong.

That’s why veterinarian a sat in a parked car in the summer heat. He wanted to show people why dogs should never be left alone in one.

Dr Ernie Ward sat in the car for 30 minutes in the sun to demonstrate just how hot it gets in a car, even with all the windows cracked open. When you see the sweat pouring down his face and him describe how oppressive and unbearable it is after just 10 minutes you can only imagine what a pet goes through! At 25 minutes he can barely string a sentence together; all he wants to do is get out of the car.

As he says in the video, there are no excuses for leaving a pet in a car in the sun or heat.
