An undercover investigator with The Humane Society of the United States took a hidden camera into every pet store that sells puppies in Virginia. What they uncovered shocked me.
They found that numerous clerks lied about where the puppies came from. In one store a puppy is visibly sick! HSUS said they “found widespread deception, omissions and cover-ups – all designed to dupe the public into buying expensive puppies from mills that treat dogs deplorably.”
