It sounds like the beginning of a bad joke – a man is driving along when he sees two drunk men attempting to move a sofa – but this is exactly what happened to Jason McCartan.
Jason was driving through Drumquin, Northern Ireland when he noticed two men attempt to roll a massive orange sofa down the street. He decided to stop and watch. What he caught on camera looks like it’s from a comedy skit, but it’s real life, which makes it all the more funny.
The two inebriated friends hilariously struggle with the large piece of furniture balancing on a tiny hand trolley. They push, they pull and they cuss the entire time. As you’d expect, things don’t go particularly well, especially at 1:10! I can’t help but smile at their valiant efforts!
