Diane was at home when she heard a high pitched bark from her backyard around 8pm at night. The tiny, scared puppy huddled against the fence but she got one of her crates to catch him. He wasn’t very happy about that and didn’t welcome any attention.
Thankfully, Diane was able to arrange a vet visit for the following morning and got him neutered, vaccinated and chipped. It took “Roo” a few days to want to eat and a few days after that to trust her. But 7 days later Roo let her pet him for the first time. From that moment on Diane said “he blossomed” and she knew he was going to be fine.
Now the sweet puppy has found a loving home and has transformed from a terrified puppy to a cuddlebug! Roo was so lucky to end up in Diane’s backyard. She is an experienced dog foster mom.
