Austin and Ty are twin brothers who share a special bond. Ty has Down Syndrome, which meant growing up he had to attend a different school than Austin. But for Austin, that didn’t mean his brother wasn’t always by his side. “He’s been with me through every memorable moment I can think of,” Austin says of Ty.
So it comes as no surprise that Austin wanted Ty by his side at his graduation ceremony and told his school that he would refuse to accept his diploma unless Ty was allowed to walk alongside him to receive it. Austin’s school was more than happy to have Ty accompany his brother and the two brothers shared the special day together. In the video below, the two are preparing for the special day as their proud parents look on.
