Amy Haden and her family get up early at their house. But she wasn’t expecting the guest who showed up on their patio one morning and wouldn’t leave.
When her daughter told her there’s a dog on the porch, Amy assumed she meant one of their two dogs that she had let out earlier. But no, it turned out to be a strange dog lounging in their patio chair and wagging his tail happily.
Amy filmed the dog “chillin on the porch” and it soon became apparent he felt quite at home at their house. Amy’s family began searching for the young dog’s family. They tried everything but there was no clue where “Walker” had come from – no microchip, no name tag, no neighbor who recognized him.
After a month of searching in vain, Amy knew she had to find a more permanent solution, as Walker didn’t get along with her two dogs.
Luckily Amy found Walker a new home with an older woman who said she had been praying for a dog like him.
