YouTube personality LeJuan James was determined to give his parents a gift to show them how much he appreciated all the sacrifices they made over the 33 years of their marriage.
His parents worked day and night at multiple jobs to ensure he and his siblings had food on the table and a roof over their heads. They did whatever they could to make sure their kids were happy.
During the 2007 financial crisis they took a huge hit and ended up losing two homes. Soon after LeJuan’s grandmother became sick with brain cancer, and his parents worked even harder to make sure she had the best treatment they could afford.
“You don’t really understand until you’re a little older, then you understand the concept of money and how hard it is to get it and how easy it is to spend it,” LeJuan told E! News. “I remember that at the end of the year in 2016, one of my new year resolutions was to do that for them.”
He secretly spent five months working with a realtor to find his parents the perfect home until the day finally came to surprise them.
