Overlooked at the Shelter, ‘Scary Looking’ Dog Proves Everyone Wrong

Pebbles was getting overlooked at an animal shelter in Texas. The Pit Bull was “so sweet but her skin was a mess,” Streethearts Project wrote. Her appearance was preventing her from being adopted, so they pulled her from the shelter and placed her in foster care.

What they discovered was that while Pebbles may not have looked her best on the outside, she was a truly loving dog underneath. They wrote, “We are so grateful to have been able to help Pebbles! She has an amazing temperament with a sweet, captivating personality. All she needed was someone to take a chance on her.”

Pebbles wasn’t just great with people—she was also incredibly friendly with the other foster pups in the house. Streethearts Project revealed, “Thanks to her sweet foster family and Gals Best Pal Rescue Mission, we’re happy to share that Pebbles has found her forever family.”
