Award winning, children’s author and illustrator, Patricia Polacco loves to tell stories! And based on this video she shared, it also looks like she has a fierce love to sing in the car.
While driving down a country road with her best friend, Tammy, recently, she heard the classic song “Old Time Rock and Roll” start to play on the radio, which got her into a nostalgic mood.
“Do you also lust for the “good ole’ rock and roll” of times past? This morning, with my BFF Tammy, as we drove back from an an appointment in Marshall, that song came on and drove me into a frenzy of remembrance of my youth,” she wrote in the video caption. “Please enjoy it, as we barreled down the road with the music turned up as loud as it would go!”
It’s hard not to smile and get caught up in her enthusiasm. It’s a great reminder that we all need a touch of the “rock n’ roll” spirit in our lives no matter how old you are.
