This is incredible to watch! Northern orcas in British Columbia exhibit a rare behavior not seen anywhere else in the world. The whales like to rub themselves on the small smooth stones located at a beach in the Discovery Islands.
An amateur videographer caught this rare footage of the whales swimming right up to shore and enjoying a nice “massage”. It looks like a baby orca is there as well! Scientists believe it is a culturally unique behavior that the pod learns from each other.
