Sophie had never met her great grandmother who has dementia until this video was taken. Upon meeting the blind 82-year-old, Sophie began singing “You Are My Sunshine” and stroking her great grandma’s face.
The elderly woman responds by smiling, and I knew right away nana enjoyed her visit. “We were worried what her reaction would be but what happen next surprised us…a beautiful moment,” Sophie’s parents wrote on YouTube.
