Road safety is always a concern, but it’s even more important to practice during the holidays, when celebrating and drinking increase and road conditions worsen. That’s why the TAC did this retrospective of their most impactful road safety campaigns to produce this powerful message.
If you are going to drink during the holidays, arrange a designated driver, get a taxi, or call a friend to take you home, but don’t drink and drive.
Every day, almost 30 people in the United States die in motor vehicle crashes that involve an alcohol-impaired driver. With drunk driving still accounting for 31% of road fatalities every year, the reminder still needs to be heard.
