Dogs Are Super Excited To See Each Other Again After 18 Months Apart

The COVID pandemic has kept canine best friends and play pals Buck and Trinity apart for over a year after the doggie daycare/boarding facility they regularly visited had to shut down.

But after 18 months apart, the best buddies are about to meet again and their reunion is heart melting to watch.

Trinity the Pekingese mix and Buck the Malamute were filmed reuniting at the daycare by Tara Zapp, an employee at the Petsmart pet sitting facility in Ajax, Ontario.

In the cute clip, Trinity is seen tugging as hard as she can on her leash to get over to Buck, who is resting in a kennel. As soon as she sees her friend Trinity lets out loud barks of delight. It takes Buck a minute to recognize her, but as soon as he does he excitedly join in with a loud “hello” howl.

“We had to close out facility due to the pandemic,” Zapp wrote of the cute clip. “All the dogs got picked up and sent home before we shut down. This was the reaction when we reopened.”

The adorable pair continue with their loud greeting for a few more seconds and a little time later they were playing together in the daycare. Zapp shared a clip of the duo from prior to the facility’s closure to show how Trinity and Buck regularly play together. Adorable!
