After Beau, a lamb living on Olivia Jane Akers’ farm was rejected by her mother, a surrogate mother stepped forward right away. That mother was Max the dog.
“It was love at first sight,” Olivia Jane Akers said on her TikTok video of her dog’s reaction. “That was HER baby.”
In the clips Olivia shared on social media, Max is seen bathing Beau, playing with her, and most importantly, loving her.

The two certainly love each other a lot. And don’t worry, Beau is alive and well and fully grown up now. She lives outside on the farm with the other sheep. She’s still thrilled to see Max and play with her adoptive mom and jumps and bounces excitedly whenever Max comes to visit her – which is every day!
