Cat So Sad After Leaving Nursing Home That Shelter Finds Him Another One

George used to be an outdoor cat before finding his way to a nursing home. But when that nursing home closed down, he was taken in by Four Footed Friends in Indiana, Pennsylvania.

At the shelter, staff noticed that George seemed depressed and constantly sought attention. Realizing he wouldn’t thrive in a typical home with just a few people, they decided to reach out to local nursing homes to find him the perfect environment. The response was overwhelming, and Forest Hills Personal Care Home was ultimately chosen as his new home.

From the moment George arrived, he settled right in. He thrives in the company of many people, making his rounds to greet every resident with affection. His presence brings comfort and joy, proving that he was meant to be a therapy cat all along.
