A Middle School Basketball Team Has Awesome Response After Hearing A Cheerleader Getting Bullied

Some middle school students in Kenosha, Wisconsin showed a lot of class and a whole lot of heart when they stood up for a classmate who was being bullied.

Chase Vazquez, Miles Rodriguez, and Scooter Terrien play basketball at Lincoln Middle School and when they heard someone in the stand shout something nasty about Desiree Andrews, they stopped playing in the middle of the game and confronted the bully.

Desiree (or Dee as she’s known at school) has Down syndrome and is part of the school’s cheerleaders. She told WTMJ4 News that what the boys did for her was “sweet, kind, awesome, and amazing.”

What awesome young men!
