Animal Shelter Offers To Bring Pets To Workplaces For Snuggles And A Chance To Find a Home

The Humane Society Of Broward County, an animal shelter in southeastern Florida, has come up with a novel idea that combines a way to reduce workplace stress and also increase the odds of homeless animals getting adopted.

Called “Snuggle Delivery”, the service will deliver shelter animals for hour-long visits to workplaces and offices, giving both the animals and humans a chance to cuddle and socialize together. The shelter is requesting a minimum donation (of $150) for the visit with proceeds going to benefit the animals at their shelter.

The animals participating are all spayed and neutered, and will be accompanied by adoption documents, should someone choose that they want to extend their snuggling time for a lifetime!

This is such a great idea! I hope it spreads to other shelters!  You can read more about the Humane Society Of Broward County’s Snuggle Program on their website.
