Airedale Terriers are bred to hunt and kill vermin. But Sunshade had a different attitude than most of her breed. She loved Guinea Pigs. She’d watch them for hours at a local pet store. When Sunshade was diagnosed with cancer in 2010, her mom decided to give her what she always wanted. She got her a pair of female Guinea Pigs or so they thought! They got an unexpected surprise on Christmas Eve, much to Sunshade’s delight!

Sunshade enjoyed four wonderful years with her Guinea Pigs before she crossed Rainbow Bridge in May 2014. She was a special dog!
